Dangerous Game Hunting

Taking another step toward the grunting leopard or herd of buffalo meters away when every instinct in your body is telling you to get away, separates the hunted from the hunter. Ready to take your hunting exploits to a new level? Meet dangerous game hunting. The Big Five originally earned their name by being five of the most challenging and dangerous species to hunt on foot in Africa. Lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and cape buffalo comprise this collection of game, however the addition of Nile crocodile and hippopotamus turn the Big Five into the Dangerous Seven. The main hunting focus in our Luangwa Valley concession is on all of the Dangerous Seven excluding the rhinoceros species which is not hunt-able in Zambia.

Chisomo was once known to harbor some of the largest herds of elephant and heaviest tuskers in Zambia. We hope to regain this title with our continued efforts. Due to its remoteness, Chisomo is a challenging area to navigate. To this day some areas of the concession have still never been reached, meaning that this is about as adventurous as hunting gets with the possibility of exploring truly untouched wilderness. The minimum caliber required for dangerous game hunting is generally .375 H&H, a powerful and versatile cartridge capable of delivering high energy and penetration
